^{Anjuman-e-Fakhri Masjid Mosque}

<sup>The Anjuman-e-Fakhri Masjid Mosque was built in Mississauga. The construction of the mosque was completed in 2016 and the official opening was held in December 2017.  

The mosque has been fitted with Luvindow specialty shape alu-clad wood windows and doors, painted brown, all with Low-E double glazing, to suit the building style of the mosque. These specialty shape and carved glass windows were formed into a keystone arch shape and have an intricate detail of the sun and its rays, also done in solid red oak, giving the whole mosque thermal and sound insulation functions.</sup>

Luvindow Specialty Shape Windows in the Project
With the arched top and bottom rectangles, and true-divided lites, the specialty windows not only strengthened the aesthetics of the building but also made the mosque became a true home of Disciples.

In this case, we applied carved glazing (or etched glazing) on specialty shape fixed windows. By using sandblasting techniques, it is possible to cut deep into the glass. You can even blast right through the glass if this is what is required. Sandblasted glass is always subtle, distinguished, and elegant and it is often functional. In the residential and commercial sections, you will see how it has been used for purely decorative purposes as well as for specific functions.

As for the opening method, we provided double sashes tilt & turn windows, which are more resistant to blustery weather while maintaining functions like air-tightness, alternative ventilation way, and accessibilities; tilt and turn windows form a complete seal when fully closed, and they can be opened in the upper tilt way to ventilate at a minimum opening status, when there's a good day, it can be opened as normal inward casement windows. This kind of design also provided a good energy-efficiency performance because of the good seaming when it closed.

Solid Wood
Winter is cold and long in Toronto, so windows with good heat-insulation performance are a must-be. Solid wood is the best insulation profile, it is favored in many residential applications because of its appearance and traditional place in house design. From a thermal point of view, wood-framed windows perform well with frame U-factors in the range of 0.3 to 0.5 Btu/hr-sq. ft-°F. Luvindow's all profiles are in accordance with US building codes and well selected.
 

But the disadvantages are also obvious, solid wood is more prone to damage and corrosion, requiring higher maintenance costs,  So, Luvindow provides the highest quality aluminum on the Wood+ series, which means solid wood is the main material while plus aluminum cladding on the exterior. The exterior cladding thus has lower maintenance requirements, while retaining the attractive wood finish on the interior. Our Aluminum cladding with an advanced seamless welding joint technique, that makes the four corners of the aluminum cladding welding smoothly and barely can be seen. Resulting in not only a stronger weld but also creating a prettier finish.

Second is the custom-design etched glazing option, Luvindow with cutting-edge sandblasting techniques for creating full-custom patterns in glazing, we can create the most unique look glazing for your very own project no matter the religious patterns or commercial needs.

With our own expertise, we provide no-cost design development & contract documentation with CAD & BIM drawings, including elevation & details & installation design. 

Before production, we will provide accurate sample drawings, which will clearly show the cross-sectional pattern, size, opening method and direction, pattern of the warm spacer, and the installation nodes. We will not go into production until you have signed off on the drawing to ensure that you receive a final product that meets the exact requirements of your 
project.
