This project is located in Newport Beach, California, USA, which is a personal villa. We are proud to tell you more about it. The main window type is thermal break aluminum with teak wood interior cladding French windows. Thus, it remains the beauty of wood and great energy efficiency, low maintenance, and good finishing of thermal break aluminum profiles. We also offer solid wood entry doors. Double-pane fully tempered Low-E glass is our standard option to meet the need of performance. By the way, all these glazing and profiles are under the US building codes and energy-efficiency standards.
This huge and complex project was the homeowners' dream for a long time. Built mainly with stone, it is enriched with wooden and metal elements, giving the feeling the house is composed of different structures. Due to the dimensions, the first requirement was to open the house to daylight, installing massive windows and doors all around the house to get a good sunbath atmosphere interior.

Tilt turn window is a popular window type in Europe, but it's not common in America. The tilt-turn window features dual functions through the orientation of the handle. When it turns 90 degrees, it's a casement. When it turns 180 degrees, it's a top-opening hopper. Tilt turn window combines the advantages of casement and hopper. We strongly recommend it to our clients.02 / HardwareFor the Hardware System, Luvinodw uses Siegenia multi-point locks, hinges, and handles from Germany. With top burglar-resistant, the handles come with a long backplate in solid aluminum. The cylinder is practically inaccessible and the long backplate is almost impossible to remove. And the high-quality components, each is capable of sustaining 400lbs for high security and longevity. The friction stay is tested for more than 400,000 cycles, to put this in perspective, a window that is opened and closed 10 times a day should last at least 100 years before failure.
The multi-point locks system also provides better sealing and contributes to the insulation performance of the whole building. Together with Technoform Bautec's insulation edge bond and sealant strips, these make up the top insulation and energy-saving performance of our products.
03 / Profiles Luvindow's teak wood is well selected from the origin places in Southeast Asia. As one of the fabulous hardwoods, teak is known as the king of the wood favored by many homeowners and construction professionals. It's durable, easy finishing and precious wood, which is good for flooring, stairs, and windows.
For this CA project, we used the teak clad thermal break aluminum profiles. Finest extruded aluminum profiles with a thickness of 1.4 mm to provide excellent durability and strength. With a polyamide bar (Polyamide 66, or Nylon 66) PA66 applied in the middle of aluminum profiles to break or insulate the heat and cold, thermal break aluminum profiles perform much better than standard aluminum. Fully tempered glass with 5mm thickness and spacer of 9mm to meet the need of performance.
